The Duke Consultation and Referral Center can’t offer medical advice via e-mail. But we’re happy to help you make an appointment to discuss your question with a Duke physician.

We encourage you to call 888-275-3853 for a referral or to schedule an appointment with one of our doctors.

How do I contact a specific doctor?
If you are looking for a doctor, search for his or her name in our directory . Most doctors list their office phone number in the physician referral directory. Alternatively, you can call the Duke Consultation and Referral Center at 888-275-3853 and ask for the doctor’s phone number.

How do I contact a nurse or staff member?
If you are trying to reach a member of the staff, call the Duke Operator at 919-684-8111 or search Duke’s online staff directory.

How can I contact a patient at one of Duke’s facilities?
Call the facility where the patient is staying (see numbers below) and request the phone number for the patient’s room. We don’t offer e-mail messaging to patients, and we can’t forward to a patient e-mails sent to us.
